Due to growth, we are delighted to be instructed on a unique and exciting Associate Director / Director of UK Leasing role for a leading pan-European logistics focused investor, developer and asset management platform.
Reporting into the Head of UK Asset Management, the Associate Director / Director of UK Leasing will be responsible for leading all leasing activities, driving portfolio value through extensive occupier led initiatives and executing transactions across a substantial and high profile industrial and logistics portfolio of c £2bn across the UK – including well located multi-let urban logistics assets.
Driving portfolio performance
Challenge the traditional approach and create a dynamic leasing model with a focus on occupier relationships
Creating, implementing, managing and constantly reviewing the marketing strategy across the portfolio
Produce high-quality marketing campaigns with associated media strategy
Managing third-party service providers involved in the leasing process including letting agents and solicitors
Highly visible in the marketplace – establish and manage key broker relationships
Create, maintain, grow and foster quality relationships with existing and prospective occupiers and develop an in-depth understanding of their business, strategies, and trends that impact their need for space
Act as the market expert regarding market conditions: rents, available product and economic trends
Assist the wider team in developing asset business plans and underwriting new developments and acquisitions
Persuasive presentation and negotiation skills
Strong computer literacy
Strong understanding of the drivers of creating value
Ability to demonstrate a track record of delivering performance
Articulate, numerate and analytical
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Strong intellect with an aptitude for problem-solving and tenacity to close deals
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle priorities effectively
5/7 years industry experience
Extensive commercial acumen
Strategic thinker and ability to create opportunities
Willingness to challenge the typical institutional leasing model
Effective/ track record of leasing – including some logistics and industrial assets
Team ethic – working as part of a larger team to deliver results
Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentational skills
