My client is a best in class pan-European investor, developer and operator of Logistics assets. The business is run by an experienced management team, and during the past few years have experienced tremendous growth in the markets in which they operate. Due to this ongoing success, they are looking to hire a top-tier Fund Management Analyst to provide overall support with respect to financial analysis, investment management and operational performance of the European logistics development funds.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Strive to maximise the financial and operational performance of the fund and realizable value to investors;
Assist with financial modelling across the European development funds, including both fund and asset level models to ensure accurate and timely forecasting of the Fund’s cash flow projections, capital management requirements, distributions and investment performance;
Assist with internal/external reporting obligations, including Quarterly Reports, Monthly Reports, Annual Business Plan, valuations and other ad hoc reporting as required from time to time, in an accurate and timely manner;
Provide support and critical guidance to the Investments, Development and Asset Management teams with regards to the assessment and analysis of prospective transactions (developments, acquisitions, disposals, lease proposals);
Assist in the underwriting and due diligence of prospective acquisitions/transactions;
Assist in the preparation of Investment Committee memorandums and investor presentations;
Perform market research as needed to support the fund’s investment remit and deployment strategy;
Assist the Fund Management team as required in order to ensure compliance and proper governance;
Required Qualifications and Skills:
A bachelor’s degree in real estate, engineering, finance, business, economics, law or a related field;
1-2 years of relevant experience, either in real estate investment management, investment banking, valuations, property analytics or finance/accounting;
Strong analytical skills, including experience undertaking detailed financial analysis using Microsoft Excel and/or relevant Real Estate forecasting tools;
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills;
High degree of commercial and financial acumen;
Meticulous attention to detail;
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small and large team; and
Willingness to travel abroad from time to time
Knowledge of a second European language is desired
