Our client is a best in class pan European investor, developer and operator of Logistics assets. The business is run by an experienced management team, and during the past few years have experienced tremendous growth in the markets in which they operate. Due to this ongoing success, they are looking to hire an Asset Management Analyst / Associate to provide support to the ongoing reporting and the oversight of the implementation of asset level business plans across Europe.

The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing asset management best practices and processes across Europe
  • Developing tools, budgeting, and reporting templates to ensure consistency across the platform
  • Liaising on a regular basis with regional teams to promote standards and processes
  • Actively use and promote technologies and systems: VTS, Yardi, ESG portal etc
  • Coordinate the monitoring of the asset level business plans including Capital Expenditure property budgets. Report on subsequent comparison to budget, investigating and explaining variances.
  • Assess available approaches to letting the positioning of assets through refurbishment, adding value initiatives proposed by the asset managers.
  • Reviewing the assumptions and asset level budgets prepared by the asset managers and seek to optimise performance
  • Promote ESG measures and targets embedded in the ESG policy
  • Work closely with FP&A, Finance and Fund Management teams to deliver data required for all asset management related information required for business and funds reporting: monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Actively contribute to the various internal and external valuation exercises for the European portfolio
  • Coordinate with the global insurance team on property related insurance reporting requirements
  • Act as a key contact to the Asset Managers across the portfolio.
  • Benchmarking performance against industry competitors as required. Coordinating with MSCI/IPD and INREV to ensure efficient benchmarking

The ideal candidate must have:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in asset management with experience of working in an investment/fund and asset management business
  • Familiar with institutional requirements in terms of reporting and set-up
  • Preferably has worked on a pan-European portfolio
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and a “hands-on” attitude.
  • Strong excel and Finance modelling skills
  • Very good level of English
